Commemorative broadside for The Dog & Pony Show. This is a linocut block (the black-inked image you see here) printed on top of a "split run" or "rainbow roll" print on paper. Paper measures 11-1/4in x 25in.
Specs: All ink is traditional oil-based relief printing ink. Paper is high quality, acid-free, 100% cotton, and your choice of Revere Silk (ivory color , not quite "white," 300 gram weight) or Arches cover (cream color–slightly darker than the ivory–250 gram weight). Color difference between papers is almost imperceptible from front since ink coverage is total.
For shipping: print is inserted into acid-free, protective plastic sleeve, then carefully rolled and inserted into a sturdy mailing tube to prevent any damage to the paper.
If you want to see and purchase the broadside in person–and pick out the exact print that you want–Artisan Gallery in Paoli, Wisconsin has prints for sale at their gallery. Please visit their website for more info about visiting their beautiful gallery of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts.
As with all of my woodcuts and linocuts, this is a hand-pulled print, meaning no two pieces are identical.
